We have designed and implemented a distributed system for social sharing
and filtering of information. It relies on the automatic recording of
the behavior and interactions of members of communities of practice. The
system automatically updates membership in informal communities at
regular intervals and provides a simple and intuitive interface for
distributing relevant information among its members.
